As a fan who has been eagerly awaiting Pa Salieu‘s return to the music scene, I must say, it’s like savoring a long-lost flavor once again. The raw energy and unapologetic swagger that he exudes through his music is simply unmatched. After serving 21 months of a 33-month sentence for violent disorder, Pa Salieu’s “Belly” is not just a comeback track, but a testament to resilience and determination.
After emerging from prison this week, Pa Salieu has released a fresh single titled “Belly”. This new track marks his return to his fanbase following the completion of a 21-month term in jail as part of a 33-month sentence for violent disorder.
In the beginning of the song, Salieu sings, “I’ve been away for some time, yet I managed to return to you.
I’m off the beaten path with my friends, and girl, it’s clear what we need to do. You might find this move unusual, but remember, I am Pa Salieu.
“Belly” was produced by Felix Joseph and AoD, two longtime collaborators of Salieu.
The last full-length album the rapper released was 2020’s Send Them To Coventry.
