Fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of Watchmen: Chapter 1, which became available for digital rental on August 13 this year. Producers Warner Bros., who hold the rights to Alan Moore’s Watchmen, have not yet announced a streaming release date, leaving fans with the prospect of additional costs to catch this film and its sequel. However, in today’s streaming era, it was only a matter of time before Max secured a deal with DC Comics, the owners of the Watchmen rights, as well as producers of the HBO original Watchmen sequel series.
