Originally appearing in 2015’s “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” Rey quickly took over as the main character and the last surviving Skywalker when she assumed the name at the end of 2019’s “The Rise of Skywalker.” Although the Skywalker Saga may have concluded then, it seems that Lucasfilm is far from finished with Rey, as there have been active plans to create a standalone film starring her, which Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy will direct.
Even though fans had been informed about Kevin Costner’s departure several months prior, they were still taken aback by the emotional goodbye to John Dutton, the ranching patriarch, during Part 2 of Yellowstone’s fifth and final season.
