This role is particularly noteworthy and could be one of Pullman’s best performances yet – he drew inspiration from a well-known boy band pop singer for it. Interestingly, during the time when Pullman’s real-life father, Bill Pullman, was starring in prominent films like “Independence Day,” there was a rise in the popularity of boy bands, some of whom are still making waves today.
