Sarandos’ compensation for this year consisted of a fixed salary of $3 million, the same as last year, plus stock rewards worth $42.7 million and a bonus of $12 million. In comparison, his total compensation in the previous year was $49.8 million, since no stock awards were given to him in 2023 or 2022.

In essence, he appeared trapped in repeating these behaviors because he lacked alternative leadership abilities. Upon his first days as Mayor, Fisk manipulated Police Commissioner Gallo into staying by threatening his family. Ironically, this seemingly cruel act was actually one of kindness from Kingpin.
