I recently had the pleasure of chatting with Neil Burger, the director behind the pilot and second episode of our upcoming series, while he was busy promoting his latest film, “Inheritance”. When asked about our show, “Motorheads”, he shared some exciting insights. In his own words, he described it as a blend between “The Fast and the Furious” and “Friday Night Lights”. Set in a town in Pennsylvania that’s seen better days, the focus is not on football but on cars, racing, car theft, and customizing cars – essentially car culture. The writing, he mentioned, is particularly impressive, thanks to creator John A. Norris.

It seems that while there’s much excitement for the upcoming film, some spectators are worried that its short runtime might signal trouble due to the MCU’s history. Although many MCU films surpass the two-hour mark, Captain America: Brave New World is relatively brief at under 120 minutes. While a shorter running time doesn’t necessarily mean the film will be bad, some have suggested that given the MCU’s past, it could be a warning sign. This is because several shorter MCU films, such as Thor: Dark World, Thor: Love & Thunder, The Incredible Hulk, and The Marvels, have been met with negative feedback from audiences. However, it’s important to note that Ant-Man and Doctor Strange were also under two hours long, and both were positively received upon release.
