In a new twist on the 1940 movie “The Shop Around the Corner,” “You’ve Got Mail” tells the story of Kathleen and Joe, who fall in love through a series of emails after meeting online. Unlike Mr. Kralik and Ms. Novak from the original film, who became pen pals by exchanging handwritten letters, these modern lovers never meet face-to-face until much later in their relationship. However, they share the same intriguing element as their predecessors: both sets of characters are unaware of each other’s true identity until the climactic scenes of their respective films.

The December rankings from our television ratings service, which take into account the final week of November as well, indicate that streaming services are currently at a record-breaking 43.3% of all TV viewing in the U.S., just slightly below the combined 46.2% for both broadcast (22.4%) and cable (23.8%) for the month.

During a chat with News18, Raveena Tandon’s daughter, Rasha Thadani, mentioned that it was mainly within the last few years, particularly as she prepared for her role in Azaad, that she started to feel more at ease with the thought of being recognized in public.
