Since Todd Haynes, the director of “Carol”, supported his casting for “First Cow” in 2018, Orion Lee Magaro has been putting in a tremendous amount of work as if there were no tomorrow. At the moment, you can catch him on the silver screen in Tim Fehlbaum’s “September 5”, and on the small screen in the series “The Agency”, produced by George Clooney. Additionally, he has two films running on the festival circuit this year before his appearance in Maggie Gyllenhaal’s “The Bride” this fall. To top it off, he recently completed work on “The Mastermind”, which marks their third collaboration with Kelly Reichardt over the past few years.

In three episodes during Season 9, the character portrayed by Wolf was Jonathan Cole, a member of a special ops team and a ruthless killer who came close to eliminating Michael Weatherly’s Tony DiNozzo. The season finale saw his character making a tragic sacrifice when a bomb was sent to the Navy Yard via car. Despite an illustrious career in movies and television, Wolf fondly recalls his villainous role. Speaking with TV Insider, he expressed his enjoyment of playing a bad guy, stating:

4. Speaking with TV Insider, Wolf shared his delight in playing a bad guy, expressing:

In an agitated stance against a rocky outcrop, Nina (Nahéma Ricci) debates heatedly with her stranded peers. Their vehicle has unexpectedly run out of fuel in the vast expanse of nowhere. In desperation, she contacts Kevin (Frédéric Millaire-Zouvi), an acquaintance met a few days prior, seeking assistance. He arrives at the group’s location with a gas container, yet it becomes evident that Nina is no longer invited to travel with them. Attempting to negotiate a ride from Kevin, she hints subtly, but he must attend elsewhere. With no other means of transportation for days, Nina finds herself stranded in this remote wilderness until a bus can take her back to civilization.

In “The Badge,” Thornton portrays Darl Hardwick, a sheriff in a small town, who finds himself entangled in a complex and sinister murder case involving a transgender woman. However, this murder isn’t as straightforward as it appears. Despite the intriguing mystery setup and the talent of the cast, the film didn’t receive much attention at its premiere due to complications with its distribution. The complete summary goes like this:

[In “The Badge,”] Thornton takes on the role of Darl Hardwick, a small-town sheriff who discovers that a murder he is investigating isn’t what it seems. Although the mystery concept had the potential to be intriguing and the cast possesses great acting abilities, the film was largely ignored at its release due to problems with its distribution.
