Alien: Romulus Is Getting a Retro VHS Release

In an unexpected move, the latest installment in the sci-fi horror legacy sequel series, “Alien: Romulus”, is set for a nostalgic home release, becoming available on VHS, Blu-ray, and DVD. Yes, you heard it right – VHS! Despite the rise of DVDs in 1997, with popular titles like “Twister” and “Goodfellas”, the decline of VHS seemed imminent. However, the format managed to survive until 2005, with movies such as “The Legend of Zorro” and “A History of Violence” marking its end. Interestingly, Witter Entertainment has been releasing newer genre favorites like “Mandy”, “Suitable Flesh”, and “Terrifier 2” on the seemingly deceased format. In fact, “Terrifier 2” had a limited-edition run of tapes available at Walmart!
