Paramount+ Sets Premiere for ‘We Will Dance Again’ Documentary About Oct. 7 Hamas Terrorist Attack

As a survivor of numerous conflicts and a witness to the resilience of the human spirit, I eagerly await the premiere of “We Will Dance Again”. Having lived through the heart-wrenching aftermath of similar tragedies, I can only imagine the raw emotion and unparalleled bravery captured in this film by the talented Yariv Mozer.

On September 24, Paramount+ is set to debut the movie titled “We Will Dance Again.” This film recounts the tragic terror attack by Hamas that occurred on October 7 of the previous year at the Nova Music Festival

The date for the premiere is set close to the first anniversary of the attack that claimed around 1,200 Israeli lives and held approximately 250 hostages captive. In response to Hamas following the attacks, Israel initiated a strong military operation in Gaza, resulting in significant loss of life across the region

This project from See It Now Studios showcases recently conducted interviews with over a dozen individuals who miraculously survived, sharing their harrowing ordeals through never-before-seen cell phone recordings. The documentary also incorporates footage captured by fellow victims and Hamas prior to the escalation of the broader Israel-Gaza conflict

“Susan Zirinsky, president of See It Now Studios, stated, ‘The human toll from Hamas’ attack in Israel and the subsequent conflict in Gaza has been devastating for both Israeli and Palestinian people.’ She further explained, ‘This is a heart-wrenching narrative of unimaginable sorrow yet also of courage, selflessness, and valor.’ The film serves as a historical record, capturing one of the attacks that started on October 7th at 6:29 in the morning,” (paraphrased by me)

The movie “We Will Dance Again” is the work of director Yariv Mozer. He has also worked on other films such as “The Devil’s Confession: The Lost Eichmann Tapes” and “Ben Gurion: Epilogue, My First War.”

Unedited recordings of the terrorist attacks were recently displayed in November at the Museum of Tolerance in West L.A. The project, titled “Bearing Witness“, showcased a 43-minute segment of Hamas terrorists’ actions against Israeli civilians during the Nova Music Festival. This event was one of the initial targets of an attack on southern Israel around a year ago

The harrowing account of Hersh Goldberg-Polin, an Israeli-American, battling to stay alive amidst the music festival assault, subsequently being captured and tragically becoming one of six hostages who perished before the Israeli military could free them, is showcased in this film

Dance Again is jointly produced by See It Now Studios, SIPUR, factual producer Bitachon 365, along with MGM Television and HSCC. Other co-producers include BBC Storyville, responsible for airing the documentary in the U.K., and Hot Channel 8, set to broadcast the film in Israel

The following individuals – Emilio Schenker, Michael Peter Schmidt, Gideon Tadmor, Orly Arbell, Ariel Weisbrod, Sheldon Lazarus, Ben Winston, Leo Pearlman, Ben Turner and Gabe Turner (along with others) – have been acknowledged as the executive producers

Chris Grant’s Osmosis Global is handling worldwide TV sales rights for the documentary.
