In just under a month, the much-anticipated movie Raid 2 starring Ajay Devgn, Vaani Kapoor, and Riteish Deshmukh is set to hit the screens. The initial teaser has already been revealed, and it’s been reported that the full trailer will be released on April 8, 2025. Interestingly, it seems that this trailer will be shown alongside Sunny Deol’s Jaat in cinemas.
As per the latest news from Bollywood Hungama, the crew of Raid 2 is preparing for the trailer unveiling on April 8th. It’s been hinted that a grand event will take place in Mumbai, with Ajay Devgn and the rest of the cast anticipated to attend.
The report added that the trailer for the action thriller “Jaat,” starring Sunny Deol, will be connected to its screenings in theaters starting April 10. It was disclosed that the creators of “Raid 2” reached out to Sunny Deol and the producers of “Jaat,” who were delighted to include the trailer for “Raid 2” with their cinema prints.
In simple terms, “Raid 2” is the follow-up to the 2018 film “Raid”. Actor Ajay Devgn will reappear in the role of IRS Amay Patnaik. He’ll be going head-to-head with Riteish Deshmukh, who takes on a villainous character. The ensemble also includes Vaani Kapoor, Rajat Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, Supriya Pathak, and Amit Sial.
The brief, one-minute and six-second trailer for the film highlights Ajay’s appearance in it, as he prepares for his 75th raid. His line, “When did I say that I am a Pandava? I am the entire Mahabharata,” rapidly gained traction online.
