Ryan Murphy Wants to “Get the Band Together” for More ‘American Horror Story’

As a seasoned gamer of the macabre and supernatural, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement upon hearing that Ryan Murphy and John Landgraf might be reviving American Horror Story. Over the years, this show has been my go-to for spine-tingling tales, intricate storylines, and a cast that never fails to deliver electrifying performances.

It seems that Ryan Murphy and John Landgraf aren’t finished with “American Horror Story” yet, as they may have some additional installments in store for us on the small screen.

In a conversation with Variety, Landgraf, the chairman of FX, made it clear that the series wasn’t intended to end. He stated, “One of the reasons I found American Horror Story so brilliant was because Ryan has a knack for creating things and worlds. This show offered him a chance to make numerous worlds. However, after 12 consecutive years, there seemed to be a desire for something new, something innovative. Both he and I were more eager about this fresh concept, which is a complete departure from another season. He simply meant, let’s take a break, and direct Ryan’s creativity and inventiveness towards something different now.

Ryan Murphy has affirmed his ongoing work on the upcoming season of “American Horror Story”. Although he hasn’t finalized his ideas for it, Murphy mentioned that he recently spoke with Sarah Paulson, who expressed interest in reuniting the cast. He also plans to meet up with Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters soon as they are close to him and he is dedicated to the show. The last episode of “American Horror Story”, titled “Delicate”, was aired in April 2024.
