Regardless of the extended gaps between releases, the collaborative effort of Saba and No ID, known for their visionary ideas and high anticipation, is steadfastly moving forward with their joint project titled “From the Private Collection of Saba and No ID“. This esteemed Chicago rapper/producer duo has unveiled another track from the upcoming album, christened “Woes of The World.
The shortened 3.5-minute version showcases once more the harmonious collaboration between the talented artists from Chicago, as Saba’s incisive rhymes blend seamlessly with No ID’s polished studio beats.
“It makes me emotional to know what I know,” Saba reflects on the chorus over layered production.
The song ‘Woes of The World’ is the second official single to be released following ‘How to Impress God’, which came out in October 2024. These two tracks join earlier releases from 2024, such as ‘head.rap’ featuring Madison McFerrin, Ogi and Jordan Ward, and previous collaborations with Saba x No ID from 2023 like ‘Back in Office’ and ‘hue_man nature.’
Yet, it’s unclear if those previous songs will make it onto the upcoming album, as specifics about it are yet undisclosed. However, a press statement does hint at the collaborative album’s imminent release, stating it’s “on its way.
