As a passionate advocate for democracy and a dedicated fan of Sabrina Carpenter, I am absolutely blown away by her incredible accomplishment! Registering more voters than any other artist ahead of the 2024 presidential election is nothing short of phenomenal. It’s truly inspiring to witness such an impactful act from an artist I admire.
During her “Short n’ Sweet” tour, Sabrina Carpenter has managed to register more potential voters for the 2024 presidential election than any other artist has so far.
Working together with HeadCount, the artist successfully encouraged 35,814 people to register to vote. Furthermore, an additional 263,087 individuals became actively engaged in the voting process beyond just registration, through various means such as checking their registration status, finding their polling location, participating in giveaways, attending in-person activations, and watching videos during her tour, as well as receiving mailers.
HeadCount enjoyed an exceptional year, thanks to collaborations with more than 100 notable musicians such as Sabrina Carpenter, Green Day, Ariana Grande, and many others. As a result, we successfully registered over 450,000 new voters and motivated an additional million individuals to exercise their right to vote,” said Lucille Wenegieme, the executive director of HeadCount, in a statement.
She went on to say, “Our model thrives due to the fact that musicians and famous personalities possess cultural influence and a deep bond with their admirers, particularly among younger generations. For many young people, their identification as a fan of an artist can be more profound than their allegiance to a political party or candidate. We deeply appreciate our artistic collaborators and their teams for igniting their followers’ passion for shaping their own future.

The carpenter collaborated with HeadCount on an initiative that offered concert-goers a chance to verify their voting registration and stand a chance to attend her live performance in San Francisco on November 9th. Lucky winners will be transported to the venue for this special event.
As reported by the nonprofit that collaborates with musicians to encourage American citizens’ political involvement, Green Day’s Saviors Tour surpassed the organization’s previous record for the highest number of new voters engaged during a single tour – a total of 7,900 newly registered voters. Furthermore, this rock band also stimulated over 61,000 voter interactions through various on-site activations throughout their tour.
