As a lifestyle expert with years of experience under my belt, I must say that Salman Khan’s decision to import a second bulletproof vehicle from Dubai is nothing short of prudent, given the current circumstances. His life is not just any ordinary life; it’s a whirlwind of stardom and threats, much like a rollercoaster ride without a safety harness.
Superstar Salman Khan is currently dealing with threats from Lawrence Bishnoi‘s gangster group. In light of the recent murder of NCP MLA Baba Siddique in Mumbai, a close associate of the actor, he has decided to bolster his security arrangements. Additionally, it’s been reported that the superstar has brought in an additional armored vehicle from Dubai to increase his protection.
Salman Khan is taking numerous safety measures as he starts filming the Weekend Ka Vaar episodes for Bigg Boss 18. As per a report by Bollywood Society, he’s purchased a 2-crore rupee bulletproof Nissan Patrol SUV that was shipped from Dubai to Mumbai.
Salman just bought himself a brand new Nissan Patrol SUV, known for its exceptional safety attributes. This high-end SUV offers lavish facilities and safeguard systems, which justify its hefty price tag.
This system boasts state-of-the-art security features such as explosive device warning signals, impact-resistant glass capable of withstanding nearby gunfire, and privacy-enhancing window tinting to conceal the occupants’ identities.
The Nissan Patrol Sport Utility Vehicle hasn’t been launched in the Indian market, but it represents Salman’s second armored vehicle that he had brought over from Dubai.
Since Salman killed a blackbuck, a deer species held in high regard by the Bishnoi community, his name has been on Lawrence Bishnoi’s list of targets. The gang associated with Bishnoi has made threats, insisting that Salman apologize for the incident or face severe penalties. In light of these threats, he has been under increased protection, particularly since Bishnoi is now in prison.
Recently, the Mumbai Traffic Police received a message from the gang demanding Rs 5 crore from Salman for him to be “forgiven” by Bishnoi. The message warned that failure to pay would result in a fate “worse than Baba Siddique,” who was shot dead in Mumbai on October 12, 2024.
Currently, additional information is emerging. According to India Today, it appears that Khan’s security team has been strengthened by around 8 to 10 armed police officers. Moreover, the Mumbai Police have established a dedicated command center at Khan’s residence, known as Galaxy Apartments.
In terms of his professional endeavors, Khan’s upcoming film is titled “Sikandar.” This movie is helmed by directors Sajid Nadiadwala and AR Murugadoss. Joining Khan in this project are actors Rashmika Mandanna, Sathyaraj, Prateik Babbar, Sharman Joshi, and Kajal Aggarwal, who all play substantial roles. The release of “Sikandar” is scheduled for theaters on Eid 2025.
