As a seasoned gamer and nature enthusiast who’s spent countless hours battling digital beasts in the wilderness, I can’t help but feel a sense of camaraderie with Save The Duck‘s Fall/Winter 2024 collection, “The Forest.” This line seems to have been crafted by someone who’s not only conquered virtual terrains, but also understands the importance of preserving our real-world ecosystems.
For the upcoming Fall/Winter 2024 season, Italy’s completely animal-friendly and cruelty-free outerwear brand, Save The Duck, has unveiled a new assortment of cold-weather clothing. Dubbed “The Forest,” this collection is designed for outdoor enthusiasts, drawing inspiration from the woods and incorporating messages that advocate for the conservation of natural ecosystems.
Focusing on respect for nature and animals, this collection draws inspiration from the forest’s colors. The color scheme ranges from neutral shades of gray and brown to blues, greens, and vibrant neons, symbolizing the human presence. The phrase “We All Bear Responsibility” is prominently displayed through intarsia on various designs, while the slogan “Stay Wild Stay Free” adorns puffers and vests.
The design is divided into multiple capsules, each thoughtfully crafted to suit different settings. For city dwellers, the Bureau collection emphasizes medium-weight garments such as polyester cabanas, trench coats, overcoats, field jackets, and rainwear. In contrast, the Arctic collection focuses on warmth and protection against harsh winter conditions, featuring coats made from a single fiber material, following a mono-material strategy that considers recyclability.
As time goes on, Save The Duck continues to work hand in hand with Japanese designer Satoshi Yamane, resulting in fresh Pro-Tech shapes featuring two-toned color patterns, functional design elements, and unique Pro-Tech Engineered by Toray fabric known for its superior breathability and water resistance. Moreover, the Smartleisure collection encompasses a variety of items such as blazers, sweatshirts, hoodies, skirts, and chinos; while the Junior line dresses children in apparel suitable for all-weather playgrounds and traditional puffers.
