Seth Rogen’s New Comedy Series Unveils Star-Studded Guest Cast You Won’t Believe!

The Studio has unveiled its complete lineup of stars for the satirical TV show set in Hollywood, which was jointly created by Seth Rogen.

Rogen, who is not only the star but also the writer, director, producer, and manager for a series on Apple about filmmaking, has climbed onto his director’s chair to reveal the numerous famous guest stars featured in the comedy. In The Studio, Rogen portrays Matt Remick, a newly appointed (fictional) CEO of struggling Continental Studios who constantly clashes and argues with creative colleagues and temperamental actors over whether art and business can harmoniously coexist in Hollywood.

In the new teaser, Rogen shares his perspective, saying he felt as if he was forming a band with the various characters, who are introduced here, played by some well-known actors.

Previously, it was made known that the production “The Studio,” together with Rogen, features Kathryn Hahn, Catherine O’Hara, Ike Barinholtz, and Chase Sui Wonders. Bryan Cranston, Keyla Monterroso Mejia, and Dewayne Perkins will appear as recurring guest stars in the series.

Motivated by his passion for films and his own filmmaking adventures, Rogen shared with The Hollywood Reporter why he chose to create “The Studio”. He stated, “I believed that perhaps we could produce something highly personal, reflecting our experiences, which could serve as the authentic, potentially groundbreaking show business critique for today’s times.” Additionally, he mentioned meeting with all the actual studio heads, as well as numerous marketing executives. They were all eager and apprehensive to watch it. So far, they seem to appreciate it; we have shared it with some of them, and they have enjoyed it.

Additionally, he referred to Ted Sarandos from Netflix as one of the toughest actors to secure for a cameo. In the end, he expressed that the show holds an optimistic view: “It’s a series that maintains faith in our ability to create excellent films that succeed, and this occurs frequently, so primarily we were trying to convey the challenge of actually producing a good movie in today’s film industry.

In THR’s appraisal of “The Studio”, TV critic Angie Han penned, “The humor in ‘The Studio’, which can be quite awkward, may not appeal to all; although it becomes less harsh in the latter half of the series, it still remains too intense for casual viewing or playing in the background. However, if one is open to its peculiar rhythm, this show could be a formidable competitor for the top new comedy of 2025.
