Showtime Spy Thriller ‘The Agency’ Adds Five to Cast (Exclusive)

As a fan with a penchant for gripping espionage thrillers and a soft spot for star-studded casts, I can hardly contain my excitement over the latest additions to “The Agency” on Paramount+ With Showtime! The fact that it’s based on the acclaimed French series “Le Bureau des Legendes” already sets the bar high, but when you see the caliber of actors joining this production, it becomes a must-watch.

The Paramount+ With Showtime drama The Agency is continuing to build up its cast.

Five performers – Alex Reznik, Andrew Brooke, Harriet Sansom Harris, India Fowler, and Saura Lightfoot-Leon – have signed up to appear in an espionage thriller, featuring Michael Fassbender. This series is adapted from the critically acclaimed French show, “The Bureau of Legends.”

Alongside Jeffrey Wright, Jodie Turner-Smith, Katherine Waterston, John Magaro, and Richard Gere, this production boasts an impressive ensemble.

At present, The Agency is being shot in London. This series revolves around the character of Martian (Fassbender), who is a secret CIA operative instructed to give up his undercover work and return to the London station. As the show’s synopsis states, when the person he left behind re-emerges, their romance rekindles. However, his career, true identity, and mission collide with his feelings; plunging them both into a dangerous world of international intrigue and espionage.

In this new series, Reznik takes on the role of Coyote, a CIA operative disguised as such. Brooke assumes the character of Grandpa, another CIA officer. Harris portrays Dr. Blake, a psychologist working for the agency. Fowler is cast as Poppy, the teenager daughter of Martians. Lastly, Lightfoot-Leon plays Danny, a trainee agent who shows great potential.

As a gaming enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that I’m part of the team working on an exciting new series called “The Agency”. This project is a collaboration between Showtime/MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios. The talented duo Jez and John-Henry Butterworth are penning the script, while Joe Wright will be directing the first two episodes.

Represented by Paradigm (attorney Les Abell); Brooke, represented by Helen Robinson at United Agents; Harris, represented by BRS/GAGE Talent Agency; Fowler, represented by the Curtis Brown Group and Goodman Genow; and Lightfoot-Leon, represented by the Curtis Brown Group and Tapestry London.
