As a seasoned gamer with years of experience under my belt, I can’t help but be intrigued by this dynamic duo, Chloe Sappern and Lydia Berry, and their new social media agency, @darlington. Their story is a modern-day tale of serendipitous connections, creativity, and the power of the internet.
There’s a new social media agency on the scene.
Chloe Sappern and Lydia Berry have established @darlington, a unique agency specializing in personalized and strategic creative storytelling for the digital platforms of celebrities, influencers, and trendsetters. This invitation-only agency provides services on both coasts with an impressive client list that includes Sofia Richie Grainge, Miranda Kerr, Megan Roup, Serena Kerrigan, Kate Love, Emily DiDonato, Cameron Rogers, Liv Perez, and more.
Did you know that @darlington’s origin story is reminiscent of many other online collaborations? Sappern and Berry first connected through direct messages (DMs). After an intriguing exchange, they realized they were living surprisingly similar lives – one in New York and the other in Los Angeles. During Sappern’s visit to Los Angeles, he stayed at a local residence and serendipitously met Berry. To their surprise, they found out they were neighbors on Darlington Avenue. The name of their company was inspired by this shared connection to the street.
“Upon linking up, we swiftly realized there was a substantial void in the social media sector. By combining our efforts, however, we can now provide broader, coast-to-coast solutions to both current and incoming customers, significantly enhancing our range of offerings.”
According to Berry, collaborating allows us to bring together a greater depth of knowledge rather than working alone. Our combined efforts encompass the entire content creation process, from conceptualization and implementation to design and selection, all while employing strategies geared toward improved results.
I’ve had the privilege of working with Berry for several years now, and I can attest to her impressive background in content creation, photography, design, and creative direction. Her career took off at Dear Media Podcast Network where she spearheaded a content team, managed social media growth, and devised strategies for show launches featuring big names like Kristin Cavallari and Tracee Ellis Ross. Since then, she’s been thriving as a full-time freelancer, building creative brands for various clients and celebrities since 2023. Her extensive experience and versatility make her an invaluable asset to any team.
Chloe Sappern, an alumna of Cornell University, had worked for NBCUniversal and ViacomCBS earlier in her career. Later, she embarked on her entrepreneurial journey by founding Chloe Sappern Creative. This referral-based social media agency caters to a clientele comprising influencers and celebrities, helping them craft and plan their digital personas.
