For me, it was just something I had to do. It felt like the right thing for me to reclaim my own life. And I just really didn’t care about anything else. I didn’t. Nobody’s opinion, nobody’s success, no one’s offer, no one’s anything could change my mind about my decision of taking care of myself and building the life that I really wanted to have. It really comes to: What are you passionate about? For me, it was to build my family.

It’s truly commendable that Cameron Diaz chose to step away from the busy life of Hollywood in order to focus on her loved ones instead.

She has been married to Benji Madden, a musician from Good Charlotte, since 2015, and their first child, Raddix, was born in 2019. Given the busy nature of the entertainment industry with rehearsals, shootings, and traveling, it’s not surprising that she prefers to focus on her family at home instead.

In this latest phase of her life, one highly successful actress in Hollywood has discovered numerous means to thrive and enjoy life to the fullest. For instance, she’s been selling an impressive amount of wine through her well-known brand, Avaline. Additionally, she expanded her family when she welcomed a new addition in March – her second son, Cardinal.

Cameron Diaz has consistently prioritized maintaining a healthy lifestyle, as detailed in her books “The Body Book” and “The Longevity Book.” Given her past statements about wanting to be active in Raddix’s life when she reaches her forties, it seems this goal may well come true for her. With her youthful appearance remaining unchanged, like in the movie “Vanilla Sky,” I have no doubt that this aspiration will become a reality for her.

When she started doubting her acting abilities and was enjoying her peaceful retirement, she unexpectedly learned that she would star in the Netflix action-comedy “Back in Action” alongside Jamie Foxx.

Cameron Diaz will not only make her Netflix movie debut with “back in action,” but she’ll also return as Princess Fiona in the upcoming “Shrek 5” alongside Mike Myers and Eddie Murphy. Additionally, there might be truth to the rumors about a sequel to “The Holiday,” now that Diaz has come out of retirement.

Returning to acting after prioritizing family life, Cameron Diaz’s decision to star in the Netflix film “Back in Action” demonstrates that one can indeed achieve it all.
