- Songs of Conquest arrives on iOS and Android on March 13th
- It’ll be a premium experience that costs $11.99
- There are four factions to choose from, including Necromancers!
Back in November of last year, I wrote about how Lavapotion’s Songs of Conquest was set to arrive on mobile devices. Since then, not much news has surfaced. That is, until today. As you might expect, the publisher Coffee Stain Malmo has officially announced that we can start playing it as early as March 13th! Pre-orders are now available for those who can’t wait to get their hands on it.
If you haven’t encountered Songs of Conquest yet, it’s a strategy game that made its debut on PC in 2022, initially available through Early Access. Since its full release, it has garnered a commendable Metacritic score of 78, which is quite impressive. The Steam reviews are also largely favorable, indicating that it’s not just critics who have found the game engaging.
In my gaming journey, Songs of Conquest harks back to the golden age of ’90s strategy games, and it’s clear as day if you give the trailer below a watch. You’ll find yourself commanding vast armies, engaging in strategic turn-based battles against formidable foes. Four distinct factions are at your disposal, each offering unique playstyles to experiment with.
90s-inspired tactical goodness
Personally, as soon as I see mention of necromancers, I’m pretty much sold. Raising the dead to do my bidding? All my troops get to wear a cool robe while looking creepy and sinister? Sign me up. If that doesn’t float your boat, perhaps the knights, swamp dwellers or merchants will. But I want an army of skeletons.
No matter who you choose, Songs of Conquest delivers a rich, strategic gameplay. The variety of troops you command influences their unique skills and magical capabilities, offering multiple avenues for advancement. There’s a lot to explore in this game.
On March 13th, the highly anticipated game “Songs of Conquests” will be available for download on both the App Store and Google Play. Priced at $11.99 or the equivalent in your local currency, it’s a premium game ready for you to enjoy. If you’re excited about this release, feel free to pre-register using the links provided below.
