The much-anticipated electric vehicle collaboration between Sony and Honda, AFEELA 1, can now be pre-ordered. They made this announcement together today at CES 2025 in Las Vegas, the very same location where they initially revealed their joint project back in 2023.
Two types of the AFEELA 1 are now up for pre-order: the fundamental “Origin” model, which is only available in a solid Core Black color, and the advanced and feature-rich “Signature” version that comes in Tidal Gray, Calm White, as well as the previously mentioned Core Black.
The Origin version comes equipped with 19-inch alloy wheels, and it’s been announced that customers can expect their orders by the year 2027. Conversely, the Signature model boasts larger 21-inch alloys and double screens transforming into a mini entertainment system in the backseat. Both Sony and Honda are planning to deliver these models as early as mid-2026.
Both models of the Electric Vehicle come equipped with AI-driven AFEELA Smart Driving and AFEELA Personal Assistant features, advanced spatial audio systems, 5G connectivity, adjustable themes, and a user-customizable media console. The manufacturer boasts that these vehicles can travel up to 300 miles on a single charge and have verified compatibility with Tesla’s Superchargers for fast charging.
As a gaming enthusiast, I’m thrilled to reveal AFEELA 1 – crafted for the future of self-driving technology! Yasuhide Mizuno, our CEO, mentioned that this companion is more than just a vehicle; it’s an integration of sophisticated software with painstakingly perfected hardware. You can call it your buddy on the road!
You can now pre-order the AFFELA 1 Origin edition, priced at $89,900 USD, or the Signature version for $102,900 USD. However, please note that currently, pre-orders are only being accepted in California. Keep an eye out for future updates on availability.
