Streaming Ratings: ‘The Lincoln Lawyer’ Hits No. 1 With Season 3 Premiere

As a binge-watching aficionado with over two decades of TV viewing under my belt, I must say that the third season premiere of The Lincoln Lawyer has truly taken the streaming world by storm! With its gripping storylines and top-notch performances, it’s no wonder that this show has climbed to the top of the streaming docket.

I can’t get enough of the new season of The Lincoln Lawyer! It’s been climbing up my streaming list as each episode unfolds, keeping me on the edge of my seat with its gripping storylines.

The Netflix drama adapted from Michael Connelly’s books garnered a viewership of approximately 1.64 billion minutes during the week of October 14-20, with the third season premiering on October 17. This figure was revealed by Nielsen’s streaming ratings and ranks as the third highest weekly viewing total in the show’s history, trailing behind the second week of season one in May 2022 and the premiere of the latter half of season two in August 2023.

Last week, I couldn’t get enough of Love Is Blind on Netflix, but this week it got bumped down to second place by none other than The Lincoln Lawyer. Still, Love Is Blind managed a whopping 1.21 billion minutes watched in the U.S. alone! The only other title that came close to reaching a billion minutes was Outer Banks with 1.1 billion, and Bob’s Burgers almost made it with 945 million minutes. As a gamer, I can’t help but feel a little competitive about these viewing numbers!

After returning to Netflix (and also being streamable on Hulu) in July, “Lost” reappeared at number 6 on the streaming charts, accumulating a total of 827 million minutes watched, with a significant portion being likely first-time viewers. According to Nielsen, 22% of the weekly audience for this former ABC show falls within the age range of 18-34.

Apart from “The Lincoln Lawyer,” the Mexican series titled “Secret of the River” was the sole new addition to Netflix’s original series top 10 for the week. It ranked 10th overall, accumulating 315 million minutes of view time. The film “Woman of the Hour, directed by Anna Kendrick and featuring her as a cast member, topped the movie rankings with 556 million minutes watched.

Nielsen’s streaming rankings consider viewing exclusively on TV screens and exclude minutes spent watching content on computers or mobile devices. These ratings specifically focus on American audiences, not those abroad. Here are the top streaming titles from October 14-20, 2024:
