Porsche’s participation in the 1954 race, where the Porsche 550 Spyder achieved notable victories, inspired the design of this new watch. The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon x Porsche Panamericana pays homage to this legacy with design elements that echo the 550 Spyder’s features.
This watch is particularly distinctive. It has a 42mm stainless steel case, meticulously fine-brushed and polished, with an engraved “Spyder” logo etched on its side. Its skeleton dial, inspired by the wheels of the Porsche 550 Spyder, boasts a color combination of silver, yellow, and black. The grained texture on the dial gives it a racing feel, mimicking the texture of asphalt.
This timepiece showcases an in-house TH20-09 tourbillon movement at its core, providing a 65-hour power reserve.
