‘The Boys’ Season 4 Has 55M Worldwide Viewers, Amazon Claims

As a dedicated gamer and avid fan of The Boys, I can’t help but be absolutely blown away by the success of season four. I’ve been following this show since its inception in 2019, and I’ve never seen anything quite like it on TV. The way this series manages to blend satire, action, and suspense is truly unparalleled.

According to internal data from Amazon‘s streaming service, Prime Video, the fourth season of “The Boys” is one of its biggest series to date.

Approximately 55 million people worldwide have streamed part or all of the show during the 39-day period from its June 13 premiere to three days after the July 21 finale. This represents a 20% rise in viewership compared to season three within the same timeframe, suggesting around 46 million viewers globally for that season. Amazon Prime Video also mentions that the show’s audience has continually expanded since its debut in 2019.

As a dedicated binge-watcher with years of experience under my belt, I can confidently say that Amazon has truly outdone itself this year. With “The Boys” season four breaking into its top five most-watched TV seasons ever, it’s clear that the streaming giant is consistently delivering high-quality content that keeps viewers hooked.

In the past two weeks following the season four premiere of “The Boys” in the US, Nielsen’s streaming data reveals that viewers watched a combined total of approximately 2.5 billion minutes worth of content – setting new records for the series. However, it is important to note that Nielsen’s streaming ratings have a delay of several weeks, so we don’t yet have the complete figures for this season.

Approximately 60% of “The Boys” audience on Prime Video is based outside the US, according to the company. The top-performing regions include the UK, Brazil, India, Germany, Canada, France, Mexico, Spain, and Italy. In total, season four placed first on Prime Video in a staggering 170 countries.
