A new crop of Faithfuls (and Traitors) are preparing to head to the Scottish Highlands.
Donna Kelce, along with Lisa Rinna and Dorinda Medley from “Real Housewives”, comedian Ron Funches, actor Michael Rapaport, “RuPaul’s Drag Race” star Monét X Change, and Rob Rausch from “Love Island USA” are part of the 23 celebrities set to appear in season four of the popular reality series “The Traitors”, as announced by Peacock on Friday morning.
The second season of the series hosted by Alan Cumming gained immense popularity on the internet, sparking conversations at water coolers during its third airing in January of this year. For the fourth season, the following cast members have been announced: Candiace Dillard Bassett (from ‘The Real Housewives of Potomac’), Caroline Stanbury (from ‘The Real Housewives of Dubai’), Colton Underwood (‘The Bachelor’), Kelce (mother to NFL players Travis and Jason Kelce), Medley (from ‘The Real Housewives of New York City’), Eric Nam (a K-pop singer-songwriter), Ian Terry (‘Big Brother’), Johnny Weir (an Olympic figure skater), Kristen Kish (‘Top Chef’), Rob Cesternino (‘Survivor’), Rinna (from ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’), Mark Ballas (‘Dancing with the Stars’), Maura Higgins (‘Aftersun: Love Island USA’), Rapaport, Monét X Change (‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’), Natalie Anderson (‘Survivor’), Porsha Williams (from ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’), Rausch (‘Love Island USA’), Ron Funches, Stephen Colletti (‘One Tree Hill’), Tara Lipinski (an Olympic figure skater), Tiffany Mitchell (‘Big Brother’), Yamil “Yam Yam” Arocho (‘Survivor’).
In this reality show, which is modeled after a Dutch concept, participants are divided into two teams: Loyalists and Saboteurs. At the beginning, all 23 contestants belong to the Loyalist team, but the host, Alan Cumming, selects around three players to switch sides and become Saboteurs. The Saboteur’s goal is to secretly move among the rule-following Loyalists while trying to identify their fellow Saboteurs. Each night, the Saboteur must also choose one Loyalist to eliminate, pretending it was a murder by another player.
In the last season, it was surprising that Dylan Efron, Gabby Windey, Dolores Catania, and Ivar Mountbatten managed to win despite a series of deception and backstabbing among competitors persisting right up until the finale.
The Traitors has been renewed at Peacock through season five.
