Tim Allen Had A Pretty Meta Reveal For His New Show’s Poster, But I’m Loving The BTS Look

As a longtime fan of Tim Allen and sitcoms in general, I must say that the upcoming series, “Shifting Gears,” has me quite intrigued. Having grown up watching “Home Improvement” and more recently enjoying “Last Man Standing” and “2 Broke Girls,” I can’t help but be excited to see these talented actors reunite on screen.

Starting from early 2025, one of the first shows on TV schedules is a comeback for Tim Allen and Kat Dennings in network sitcoms. Their upcoming show titled Shifting Gears is set to premiere soon, and Tim Allen, known for his role in Home Improvement, has been promoting the series with humor-filled strategies that fit his style.

Speaking of everything we discussed, I must say I’m really enjoying his latest unveiling of the program’s poster, which offers a behind-the-scenes peek at the magic being created on set. The star of Shifting Gears, himself and Kat Dennings, are prominently displayed in the artwork to advertise the show. Interestingly enough, he mentioned how fitting it was that this poster for our project was revealed in the same location where the story unfolds.

It appears there’s a great deal of excitement surrounding the upcoming ABC comedy, with plenty of amusement leading up to its release. Just the other day, Dennings and Allen unveiled a video outlining the premise of their forthcoming series, giving us a sneak peek into the storyline about Riley and Matt reconnecting as family after some challenging periods.

This tried-and-tested sitcom format is undeniably compelling, but when you have talented actors like those from “Last Man Standing” and “2 Broke Girls,” it becomes hard to resist. Plus, if you’ve been following the current season of “What If…?”, you’d know that Kat Dennings has stepped into her on-screen mother role – and as usual, in a quirky manner.

Exploring the behind-the-scenes of the show “Shifting Gears,” it’s quite thrilling to watch Tim Allen come back to the set of “Home Improvement” for this production. Nostalgia has been running high for the actor, as he recently celebrated a 30-year milestone marking his #1 best-selling book, TV series, and movie at the box office, notably from his role in “The Santa Clause.

As a dedicated admirer, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement about the kind of performance that might just be the catalyst drawing the man’s fanbase back again and again, as Tim Allen refers to it as his own version of Tom Brady’s comeback. Just like any successful career or franchise, moments like these are worth cherishing. With diehard Tim Allen fans, both old and new, eagerly anticipating another round of laughter from one of Michigan’s finest, the upcoming series Shifting Gears could easily become a regular must-watch for many.
