As a dedicated fan of “Vanderpump Rules,” I have witnessed Tom Sandoval‘s rollercoaster journey unfold before my eyes for far too long. I have felt the heartbreak and betrayal alongside Ariana Madix, and the excitement and shock during the infamous “Scandoval” scandal. However, recent reports of a lawsuit against Ariana have left me feeling uneasy and confused.
I, Tom Sandoval, want to clarify some recent rumors. Contrary to reports suggesting I’ve sued my ex-girlfriend Ariana Madix, I want to make it clear that no such legal action has been initiated by me. In fact, I discovered on Thursday that a lawsuit had been filed in my name without my full knowledge or consent. I have since taken matters into my own hands and dismissed the lawyer involved in this matter.
During the finale of “Vanderpump Rules” season 10, Madix was accused in the lawsuit of invading Sandoval’s privacy by peeking at his phone. This revelation exposed videos showing Sandoval’s infidelity with Leviss, leading to a major scandal named “Scandoval.” This explosive story consumed and left fans of Bravo feeling both enthralled and drained for an extended period.
Matthew Geragos, who used to represent Sandoval, spoke with US Weekly on Tuesday and explained that the lawsuit from Leviss, which was filed against Sandoval in February for allegedly recording an intimate FaceTime call without her consent, prompted Sandoval to file a counter-suit as a cross-complaint.
On Thursdays post, Sandoval admitted that the motion he signed implied legal proceedings against Madix. He confessed that he failed to thoroughly investigate the matter and was unaware of using the terms “new lawsuit” or “suing.”
After understanding the implications of this action, I chose to part ways with Matt Geragos on my legal team. (First person paraphrase in a fan’s voice)
He added, “I’m not filing a lawsuit against Ariana. The legal action against her will be dropped. I bear no grudge or desire for revenge against Ariana. My aim is to dismiss the counterclaim and the lawyer who suggested it, in order to resolve this case swiftly. This way, Ariana and I can both put this behind us and move forward with our lives.”
Geragos did not immediately return The Hollywood Reporter‘s request for comment.
