WACKO MARIA Celebrates Paradise Tokyo Store’s Ninth Anniversary with Varsity Jacket

As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for streetwear and a deep-rooted appreciation for Japanese culture, this limited edition WACKO MARIA varsity jacket has caught my eye like a rare Pokémon in a dense forest! The collaboration with NAMEDARUMA adds an extra layer of coolness that’s hard to resist.

This year, WACKO MARIA is celebrating a significant anniversary. In just one year from reaching a decade, their Paradise Tokyo branch will have been open for nine years, and they’ve chosen an appropriate way to celebrate this milestone – by creating a unique special-edition varsity jacket. To add to the celebration, they’ve collaborated with the Japanese hip-hop group NAMEDARUMA, who will be leading the visual campaign for this special product.

The jacket, entirely black, is a rare piece, only available in 100 units. It showcases white embroidery designs across its shape. On one side of the chest, you’ll find “WACKO MARIA” written, and on the other, it reads “APHRODITE GANG.” The back sports a unique WACKO MARIA APHRODITE GANG badge, specifically created for this release. A snap-button fastens down the center, and the sleeves are made of leather, further accessorized with numerical varsity-style patches.
