As a lifestyle expert with a keen eye for Hollywood-style dynamics, having closely followed the Bollywood industry for years, I must say that the friendship and on-screen chemistry between Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan is truly remarkable. Their journey from Student of the Year to their recent collaborations showcases not only their growth as actors but also the deep bond they share off-camera.

In 2012, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan first appeared together in Karan Johar’s film “Student of the Year,” alongside Sidharth Malhotra. Since then, they have collaborated on several projects including “Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania,” “Badrinath Ki Dulhania,” and “Kalank.” On-screen and off, they share a strong friendship and camaraderie. During the filming of “Badrinath Ki Dulhania,” Alia playfully scratched Varun, to which he humorously responded by saying she becomes quite feisty with him.

On The Kapil Sharma Show while promoting Badrinath Ki Dulhania in 2017, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt shared a side-splitting story about the movie.

In Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Kapil inquired if Alia had scratched Varun, and the star of Bhediya affirmed that she did so while filming a song for the movie. However, at first, Alia denied it and explained that it was due to her costume on set causing the accidental scratch.

“She tends to get quite aggressive. During movie shoots, everyone strives for a beautiful appearance. However, Alia was not feeling well due to dieting and wasn’t in the best of moods. Consequently, during rehearsals, she kept knocking me out of frame,” Varun stated.

Previously, during a chat with TopMob, Varun Dhawan expressed his desire to collaborate with Alia Bhatt in future projects. Regarding their relationship, Varun mentioned that Alia holds a special place in his heart and they possess an extraordinary connection.

The actor from Baby John stated, “It’s not possible to arrange that today. As friends, we value and care for each other, and I hold you in high regard. However, I look forward to collaborating with Alia once more. I believe it will happen at some point down the line.”

Alia Bhatt currently has two upcoming films, Jigra and Alpha, lined up, while Varun Dhawan will appear in a total of three movies: Baby John, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, and Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, in the days to come.
