Setting aside Marvel’s Captain America, Spider-Man, and Hawkeye for now, let me introduce a new character that could give them a run for their money – Jason Statham as Levon Cade from the recent action-packed movie “A Working Man”, produced by the legendary action star Sylvester Stallone. The plot is adapted from Chuck Dixon’s 2014 novel, “Levon’s Trade”. On an ordinary Tuesday, Statham is shown taking down a horde of bodybuilder-like men single-handedly. Seems unbelievable? But don’t doubt the construction worker, who just happens to be a former black ops agent, as he wouldn’t think twice about demonstrating his abilities.
Although Levon abandoned his military career following the tragic loss of his wife to depression and focused on being a construction worker and raising his young daughter, he continued to be plagued by violence. When his boss’s daughter, Jenny, went missing, Levon was determined to find her. However, tracking down the kidnappers and saving Jenny proved challenging. To his surprise, he discovered that he was up against the Russian mafia, leading to a climactic confrontation at the end. Now, let’s explore the conclusion of the film “A Working Man.

Why Was Jenny Garcia Kidnapped?
It’s clear that Jenny found herself in a troublesome situation – being at an inopportune location and time indeed. Despite her parents’ disapproval, she chose to accompany her friends to a nightclub, enjoying their camaraderie and dancing till late hours. However, there were some suspicious individuals lurking about, surreptitiously snapping photos of the group. Unfortunately, when Jenny and her friend stepped away for a bathroom break and returned a bit later, one of these men seized the opportunity to kidnap her from the crowd.
It eventually emerged that they were members of the Russian mafia, with Jenny being a victim of human trafficking. The criminals behind the blockbuster movie hit, which outshone Disney’s Snow White, would send pictures of attractive women to their clients to allow them to select a woman. Once a woman was chosen, the kidnappers would spring into action, preparing to deliver her and collect their payment. Jenny found herself in this unfortunate situation, as she was picked by a client who claimed she resembled a painting at his father’s house.
Did Levon Manage To Save Jenny?
Following her abduction, Jenny found herself face-to-face with her initial purchaser, yet instead of submitting to her destiny, she shockingly bit the man’s cheek. Enraged by this act, the customer commanded his captors to eliminate Jenny as she was useless to him. Remarkably, he eventually reconsidered and requested they return her for a second meeting. At first, he had only desired to exploit the human trafficking victim; however, his new plan was to inflict pain and take her life. Jenny was then taken to a hidden location, where her buyer planned to dissect her as retribution for her past actions.
Moments before the client sought retribution, a grenade’s detonation stirred chaos. Swiftly arriving on the scene was Levon, showcasing his remarkable abilities, navigating through adversaries towards Jenny. The ensuing chaos was reminiscent of Brad Pitt’s movie Fury, filled with gunfire and gore. Nevertheless, Levon reached Jenny.
Amidst the pandemonium, they managed to escape from a battlefield-like scene by hopping on a motorcycle. However, their getaway was noticed by a surviving Russian soldier. Rather than engaging in combat, the Russian was engaged in a phone conversation with a high-ranking member of the Brotherhood, who instructed him to allow Jenny and Levon to flee.
In the end, they safely returned home, finding themselves once again surrounded by loved ones in a tranquil setting.
Will There Be a ‘Working Man’ Sequel?
It might not be too shocking to hear, but eliminating several members of the Brotherhood could stir up trouble and potentially lead to repercussions, much like Jason Statham’s action films often have the possibility for sequels. Despite Levon successfully escaping with Jenny to safety, the remaining Russian at the scene wasn’t willing to forget what Levon did. During a phone call with one of his mob associates, he made it clear that he intended to track down Levon. However, his plans were met with opposition. The phone conversation in the movie featuring Jason Statham and Sylvester Stallone concludes with the mob boss cautioning the Russian that Levon would eliminate him, stressing that the Brotherhood was more significant than pursuing a lone man who would soon be no longer a problem.
Despite agreeing with the senior Brotherhood member’s stance, the surviving mobster was far from content. Upon ending the call, he released his anger in a heart-wrenching scream, overwhelmed by the emotional turmoil of losing his fellow gang members and driven by an unbearable desire for revenge against Levon. The ferocity etched on his face suggested that he might eventually turn against his brothers to track down Levon and attempt to kill him. It seems finding the construction site worker would be relatively easy, and given that Levon has loved ones around him, they could also become targets of the Russian mobster.
