As a dedicated fan of the Dragon Quest series, I can confidently say that each installment has been nothing short of extraordinary, sparking an enduring passion for Japanese Role-Playing Games (JRPGs) in both long-time enthusiasts and newcomers alike. The good news is that mobile gamers will soon get to experience Dragon Quest X Offline, directly on their preferred devices. However, there’s one minor hiccup: To enjoy this exciting adventure, you need to reside within the borders of Japan.
Today, January 15, it has been announced that Square Enix and B.B Studio have made available for download in Japan the offline version of Dragon Quest X: Rise of the Five Tribes. This mobile game, along with its additional content, can now be bought and downloaded on the Japanese versions of Apple’s AppStore and Google PlayStore.
If you’re in Japan, have a passion for this game, and wish to play it on your mobile device, I recommend buying it immediately as there’s currently a time-limited offer reducing the price.
Originally designed as an online role-playing game, Dragon Quest X has been reimagined as Dragon Quest X Offline, offering a standalone, offline version with a compelling single-player story. Players will continue their adventures in Astoltia, the continent inhabited by the five primary tribes. The Sleeping Hero and Guiding Ally expansion pack introduces fresh territories to discover and new characters to bond with.
Dragon Quest X Offline for mobile is currently available for an introductory price of 1,960 yen until January 28th. After this date, the price will increase back to its original cost of 2,800 yen. Similarly, the DLC is now priced at 1,920 yen but will return to its regular price of 2,400 yen as well, following the same timeline.
Regardless if you’re wrapping up Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake’s main story in anticipation of a global mobile release of Dragon Quest X Offline or eagerly awaiting Dragon Quest XII, keep yourself informed about the latest gaming updates and stories by following Gfinity Esports.
