In this film, BBB serves as Ranveer’s first appearance on screen, but it is also where Maneesh Sharma begins his journey as a director. As Deepika Padukone’s husband watched over with pride, he was trying to establish himself in the industry, Bhumi Pednekar, then a casting director, was hard at work. During her casting process for the male lead role back in 2009, she came across Singh and was impressed by his exceptional audition for the movie.
