As a seasoned adventurer who’s braved the icy tundras of Siberia and the scorching deserts of the Sahara, I can’t help but be captivated by 66°North’s latest campaign, “The Traveller.” Having spent my fair share of nights under the Arctic sky, I appreciate the brand’s dedication to embracing the harsh realities of the coldest places on earth.
66°North, a clothing label hailing from Iceland, is launching its newest collection in the frosty Arctic for Fall/Winter 2024. The brand’s latest campaign, “The Traveller,” follows in the footsteps of the Kria bird, venturing to some of the coldest locales on our planet.
Showcasing the global fanbase of the brand, the winged creatures embark on an annual journey from the Arctic to the Antarctic. This latest collection is a brainchild of creative director Kei Toyoshima, who became part of the team in 2022. It pays homage to 66°North’s rich century-old history while maintaining a streamlined and adaptable design.
66°North’s FW24 “The Traveller” campaign redefines timeless pieces and explores fresh territories by combining protective fabrics and innovative designs. The assortment includes GORE-TEX and Power Shield® garments, offering down-filled coats, dual-tone technical ensembles, puffed hoodies, and thermal pants for your comfort. The brand’s vintage “66NORDUR” emblem is revived by Toyoshima, along with subtle bird sketches, while the Grótta line introduces a modern interpretation of Reykjavik workwear fashion trends.
Have a good scrutiny at the 66°North’s FW24 “The Traveler” campaign displayed above. You can grab the collection right away through their official website.
