❗ Caution! This section reveals spoilers for the second season’s “Nice Guys Finish Last” episode of the show, 90 Day: The Last Resort. If you have a Max subscription, feel free to watch it, but beware, proceed at your own risk!
Time and again, I’ve emphasized it: for sheer dramatic flair, nothing on the 2025 TV lineup surpasses 90 Day: The Last Resort. Just as I was certain about which couples were most likely to reconcile this month, a surprising cheating scandal has left me questioning my assumptions.
For the first time this season, a cast member openly confessed to cheating, an admission that left me genuinely taken aback. I’m still grappling with the revelation and unsure about how to interpret it now that the secret is out. Let me share the details.
Julia Revealed She Cheated On Brandon
Previously, Julia and Brandon Gibbs made a significant stride in their relationship by tackling her concerns about infertility. However, this progress didn’t last long. In order to be honest, Julia confessed to Brandon that four years ago, during a difficult period in their relationship, she reconnected with her ex in Russia. They discussed the possibility of reconciling, although Julia maintained they were only exchanging kisses. Brandon, however, argued that this didn’t mitigate the infidelity, as they were still married at the time. Emotional and burdened by the secret, Julia felt compelled to reveal it.
Will This Be The End Of Their Marriage?
As a movie enthusiast, I must admit that the latest updates on Brandon and Julia’s social media pages suggest they might still be together. Considering this, I have a feeling they’ll navigate through the recent scandal, perhaps when Brandon has had some time to reflect on it all. It’s important to remember that a kiss doesn’t necessarily compare to the more serious allegations surrounding other couples, such as Jasmine Pineda, who is rumored to be expecting a child with someone else.
Regardless, it came as a surprise when I learned this pair appeared on 90 Day: The Last Resort, but after reflection, it seems they were just as desperate for therapy as all the other couples in Season 2. Unlike most pairs who resist every effort to improve their relationship, Julia and Brandon appear committed to working things out. Although Julia’s confession may have caused pain for Brandon, she made it with a sincere intention to rectify a past mistake that had been troubling her, and did so in the best possible circumstances. Here’s hoping he can appreciate this, and they emerge from therapy stronger than ever.
90 Day: The Last Resort can be watched every Monday at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time on TLC. I suspect there may be more scandals involving infidelity before the end of Season 2, but for now, we’ll simply have to stay tuned to find out.
