Bitcoin Wizards dominates crypto and NFT scenes with impressive gains

The Bitcoin Ordinals project named Bitcoin Wizards, along with its native token WZRD, have been making waves in both the cryptocurrency and NFT markets recently. They’ve experienced impressive growth over the last 24 hours.

WZRD has surged by 88% over the past 24 hours and is currently valued at $9. This places it as the top performer among the 500 leading cryptocurrencies. The price peaked at an intraday high of $113.8 around 09:30 UTC on April 16, following a significant increase in trading volume.

Five days after its launch on April 15, WZRD token experienced a new peak price of $197.75, marking an all-time high. The daily trading volume for the token saw a significant increase by 198%, now totaling approximately $10.1 million.

Based on information from CryptoSlam, Bitcoin Wizards NFT sales soared by an impressive 325% in the past 24 hours, amounting to $5.48 million. The community of buyers and sellers also grew substantially, with a 110% surge in the number of buyers and a 85% rise in the number of sellers, totalling 547 and 455 respectively.

Additionally, according to CryptoSlam, the global NFT sales volume increased by 15% within the last 24 hours and now stands around $40 million.

Based on the information given by the data supplier, Bitcoin currently has the highest NFT sales at approximately $20.6 million, while Ethereum comes in second place with around $7.6 million in sales volume.

Although Bitcoin dominates the NFT marketplace in terms of sales, less than 0.1% of its total volume, which amounts to around $17,871, is attributed to wash trades. In contrast, Ethereum’s wash trading volume currently stands at approximately $6.5 million.

Over the past year, Bitcoin NFTs have experienced significant growth. However, Binance recently declared that their NFT marketplace won’t be compatible with digital collectibles on the Bitcoin blockchain as of April 18.
