Mercuryo, a company that facilitates global payments infrastructure for digital assets, has introduced an option for exchanging fiat money into Tether tokens (USDt) within The Open Network (TON). With this new integration, users can effortlessly convert their traditional currency into USDt, thereby enhancing the speed and simplicity of transactions in the network.

In simpler terms, Tonkeeper’s self-custody wallet for TON transactions and multiple digital currencies will introduce on-ramps for easy access. Meanwhile, Mercuryo’s USDt on-ramp will be added to the popular Telegram Wallet, which boasts over 900 million users. This integration facilitates instant, cost-free transfers of USDt among Telegram contacts worldwide.
Aviessa Khoo, Mercuryo’s Executive Director, expressed pleasure with the project, pointing out its ability to provide top-notch payment services specifically in the digital token sector. Oleg Andreev, Ton Apps Group’s CEO, underscored the importance of USDt integration in TON, explaining that it makes possible a widespread economy on a decentralized platform for the first time ever.
Mercuryo intends to roll out off-ramp functionalities soon, enabling users to exchange cryptocurrencies into traditional currencies. This option will be compatible with not only Mercuryo’s Wallet but also major wallets operating within the TON network.
