Manchester City Football Club (MCFC) has teamed up with Quidd, a novel digital collectible platform, for the first time in the Premier League. Launched in 2016, Quidd enables fans to explore, trade, and amass certified digital collectibles from authorized brands.
Supporters have the opportunity to acquire digital collectible cards featuring athletes’ images. Once they accumulate a sufficient number of these cards, they can unlock various perks such as merchandise, tickets, or even an exclusive training session with the team.

The primary objective of this three-year collaboration is to foster emotional connections between fans and their favorite teams and sports by launching a new tool for keeping in contact.
Tom Boyle,VP of City Football Group, expressed his enthusiasm: “We’re thrilled to team up with Quidd in ushering football cards and collectibles into a modern digital era. This collaboration will allow us to foster deeper connections with our international fan base. We’re eager to develop innovative digital experiences and games together.”
MCFC’s involvement in NFTs isn’t new; they’ve worked with various companies before. In 2022, they teamed up with Sony to create a digital version of Etihad Stadium. More recently, they introduced their “Unseen City Shirts” NFT collection.
Along with this announcement, Quidd’s CEO, Michael Bramlage, shared his enthusiasm for the new partnership.
“It’s a pleasure for us to work together with Manchester City. This collaboration will boost our community sports program.”
