At 10101.art, they’ve come up with a novel approach: by using digital technology, they fragment popular artwork into tokens and sell these, employing blockchain for shared possession.

Alina Krot, the CEO of 10101.art, shared her perspective: “We’re convinced that owning art should be an inclusive experience. With 10101.art’s innovative technology and collaborative approach, we aim to make art accessibility richer for all.”

The team of specialists at their company meticulously chooses prized artworks for tokenization, verifying their authenticity before securing them in Dubai’s storage. Although the unveiling declaration pointed to pieces from renowned artists such as Picasso and Dali, these are currently not listed on their website.

In the past few months, there’s been a massive surge in interest for Real-World Asset (RWA) market as the total market value of RWA tokens, according to CoinGecko, has gone beyond $7.7 billion.

Modern financial institutions, such as BlackRock, have come to appreciate the advantages of RWA tokenization. Since its launch in March 2021, their tokenized fund, BUIDL, has experienced remarkable growth. Its value has surged from an initial $40 million to a impressive $304 million—representing a substantial increase of over 660%.
