The confirmation has been made that Pope Francis will take part in the segment of the forthcoming G7 Summit in Italy dealing with the ethical considerations and regulatory frameworks for artificial intelligence. This marks a historical first as the pontiff will be the initial religious leader to engage in such a high-level meeting among the G7 nations.

A report announces that from June 13-15, leaders of the seven most advanced global economies – the US, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, and the UK – are set to convene in Puglia for a summit. The primary agenda items will revolve around AI governance and establishing an ethical framework.
