Sasquatchfabrix. Layers Influences for FW24

As a seasoned gamer with a deep appreciation for fashion and its rich cultural tapestry, I’ve been eagerly following the developments of Sasquatchfabrix since their inception in 2003. This Japanese brand has always managed to captivate me with their unique blend of Eastern sensibilities and Western influences.

Since its inception in 2003, Sasquatchfabrix has been dedicated to blending Japanese sensibilities with global trends. Under the guidance of Daisuke Yokoyama and Katsuki Araki, the Japanese design duo has skillfully developed the brand’s unique identity, which strikes a balance between broad appeal and adherence to its fundamental principles. Recently, Sasquatchfabrix unveiled its latest Fall/Winter 2024 collection, showcasing this fusion of cultures in their designs.

Yokoyama and Araki blend rich layers of influence for their latest collection. The essence of Japanese tradition runs deep, but is interwoven with hints of Western and modern styles. The fusion is evident in the juxtaposition of quilted Kimono-inspired jackets and dragon-embellished velour track jackets. Jackets serve as a prominent theme, bridging classic and contemporary styles, showcasing a diverse range from leather jackets and bombers to oversized puffers, lightweight plaid jackets, geometric fleece pieces, and workwear cuts.

Among the various offerings, a standout piece is a button-down leather jacket, created in partnership with Avirex. This stylish jacket showcases intricate dragon designs all over its surface, along with the Avirex brand name written in an accompanying script. The monochromatic color scheme of black and white completes its classic look. Additionally, the collection includes knitwear, printed pants, pleated pants, wide-leg pants, and other items.

Check out the gallery above, featuring items scheduled for release on July 20 at Sasquatchfabrix in Japan, preceding other regional drops.
