Over the weekend, social media buzzed with excitement from “Big Brother” fans watching the live feeds and episodes of Season 26. Some commentators believe we’re back to the traditional “BB” format, as the initial days have already seen frequent target shifts and a heated argument between housemates. Despite my preference for the live move-in over the taped two-night premiere, these recent developments have more than made up for it.

If you missed the first episode of TopMob due to the unexpected absence of rewind and flashback features on live feeds, don’t worry – it happens to many viewers. Lisa Weintraub Won The Week 1 Veto

Having lived through numerous seasons of reality TV competition shows, I can confidently say that it’s way too soon to declare any veto win as the greatest of the season. However, based on my observations and experience, I strongly believe that Lisa Weintraub’s early victory will significantly contribute to her success in the game.

Angela Murray’s Verbal Attack On Matt Hardeman Put The House On Edge

I’ve been following Angela Murray closely during her first week as Head of Household (HOH), and boy, has it been a rollercoaster ride! It seemed like she was on track for a disappointing week, reminiscent of Season 23’s Frenchie whose early game-changing errors led to an untimely exit. Unfortunately, Angela’s initial plan to evict Kenney Kelly didn’t fly with her fellow houseguests. Instead, they convinced her to target Lisa instead.

Prior to Lisa securing the veto, Angela unexpectedly changed the game’s direction and fiercely criticized Matt Hardeman in an intense rant. You can watch the astonishing exchange between them in the video below.

If you didn’t finish reading, Angela was disappointed and believed Matt had put her in danger during their private conversation. She mentioned that Matt had hinted at being nominated by her in return for him not nominating her first. While such deals occur frequently in “Big Brother,” it’s unusual for a Houseguest to be so open about the arrangement with the current power holder.

To put it another way, Angela has made it known that Matt is her primary focus in the ongoing nomination process. Additionally, Lisa intends to step down from the block, creating a vacancy that could potentially lead to Matt’s inclusion. Luckily for Matt, rumors have emerged about a “Big Brother” feature called the “A.I. Arena,” which may offer safety from eviction for those who compete. We’ll need to tune in to the live feeds and upcoming episodes for further clarification.

As a longtime fan of reality TV, I’m thrilled that “Big Brother” is back on our screens, now airing on CBS and Paramount+ every Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 9:00 p.m. ET. I must admit, I was initially taken aback when I learned that the show would start a bit later than in previous seasons. However, having adjusted to this new schedule, I’ve come to appreciate the more consistent start times.
