CFDA Reveals the Preliminary New York Fashion Week Calendar

As a dedicated fashion enthusiast and follower of the industry trends, I am thrilled to see the CFDA unveil the preliminary calendar for New York Fashion Week (NYFW) Spring/Summer 2025. The anticipation builds as I scan through the list of confirmed shows and presentations, my heart racing at the sight of Off-White™’s runway show on September 8 at 12 p.m. ET. This is a brand that has left an indelible mark on the fashion landscape, and their presence in NYFW is a testament to their continued influence.


The CFDA has unveiled a preview of the New York Fashion Week schedule for the Spring/Summer 2025 collection, which is set to unfold from September 6 through September 11. Over 60 physical runway shows and presentations have already been confirmed, while additional events will be presented digitally and through private appointments.

Some notable brands are set to make their NYFW debuts this September. Off-White™ will hold a runway show on the 8th at 12 p.m. ET. Alaïa, Toteme, Ronald van der Kemp, Advisry, Campillo, Michael Fausto, Salon 1884, and TWP are among the first-timers joining the fashion scene in New York City this season.

A multitude of brands will make their comeback at New York Fashion Week, featuring the likes of 3.1 Phillip Lim, Alejandra Alonso Rojas, Andrew Kwon, Area, Brandon Maxwell, Carolina Herrera, Coach, Collina Strada, Delpozo, Diotima, Eckhaus Latta, Elena Velez, Jason Wu, Jonathan Cohen, Kallmeyer, Khaite, Lafayette 148, LaQuan Smith, Luar, Michael Kors, Monse, Naeem Khan, PatBo, PH5, Prabal Gurung, Rio Sport, Sandy Liang, Sergio Hudson, Theophilio, Tibi, Tory Burch, Ulla Johnson, Willy Chavarria and Zankov.

The Area brand will begin a week-long fashion event on September 6 at 1 p.m. Eastern Time with a runway show. Following this, Willy Chavarria, Kim Shui, Eckhaus Latta, LaQuan Smith, Luar, and the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund winner Melitta Baumeister will each present their collections daily to conclude the day’s proceedings.

At New York Fashion Week (NYFW), Joseph Maglieri, the CFDA’s fashion week initiatives director, noted that it continues to be a premier platform for American fashion. This season offers an impressive roster of established and emerging brands pushing boundaries with innovative presentation methods for their collections. In response to suggestions for enhancements, the CFDA is making further adjustments to bolster an already strong schedule, focusing on optimizing logistics and strategy to maximize benefits for both participating brands and attendees.
