The individual named “Yellowstone” has been appointed as the American Indian cultural affairs director for the Western corporation encompassing sports, media, lifestyle, and entertainment. In this capacity, he will be responsible for ensuring authenticity, diversity, and a positive industry culture.
He will work for Teton Ridge Entertainment’s film, series, and new media division, focusing on projects that reflect American culture and the values, scenery, and spirit of the Western United States. Notably, Jillian Share was appointed as president of this division in October 2023, followed by Jen Gorton’s hiring as executive vice president of production and development in December of the same year.
In February, The Hollywood Reporter revealed information about an upcoming project from Underdog Films and Teton Ridge Entertainment. One component of this multi-year venture is a docuseries centered around Colossal Biosciences, the pioneering “de-extinction” company aiming to revive extinct animals. Another part involves a fresh adaptation of Louis L’Amour’s novel Fallon, based on a movie concept by Peter Chiarelli (known for Crazy Rich Asians). Lastly, there is a planned documentary focusing on Dawn Staley and the South Carolina Gamecocks’ unbeaten women’s basketball season during 2023/2024.
Brings Plenty expressed his excitement about becoming a part of Teton Ridge, sharing that he’s “eagerly anticipating” the opportunity. He emphasized his desire to contribute positively and support Teton Ridge’s mission of highlighting western heritage. Furthermore, he aims to infuse American Indian culture into various aspects of the industry, recognizing the similarities between the two cultures and the notable achievements of cowboys and cowgirls. His ultimate goal is to foster collaboration and celebrate the stories of both communities.

He is proficient in music and drums, maintains a strong bond with horses, and has contributed significantly to cultural roles and served as a story consultant on projects within the Taylor Sheridan universe.
