Akshay Kumar hits back at criticizing him for doing 4 films in year: ‘Jisko kaam mil raha hai usko toh karne do’

As a dedicated follower of Akshay Kumar‘s career, I have witnessed his unstoppable momentum in Bollywood for quite some time now. His ability to deliver multiple films in a year is truly commendable, and despite the criticism he faces, he continues to shine.

Akshay Kumar consistently ranks among the most active actors in Bollywood today, frequently releasing multiple films each year. This prolific output, however, has drawn some criticism.

The actor now celebrated for his latest release, “Sarfira,” responded to critics who suggest he should concentrate on a single project rather than taking on several films that underperform at the box office.

Akshay Kumar takes a dig at trolls

When speaking with Ghazal Alagh, Akshay Kumar playfully addressed the frequent criticism of his work schedule. He jokingly responded to those who ask why he makes four films annually, suggesting that he should limit himself to just one. However, if he commits to doing only one film a year, what would he do for the rest of the time? Visit their homes instead?

“He emphasized, ‘It’s fortunate for some to secure jobs in this economy where unemployment is rampant. Those who are employed, let them continue working.’ “

Akshay Kumar on being mindful about his future scripts

In a conversation with Forbes India, Akshay Kumar shared his perspective on how audiences nowadays are choosy about the films they prefer to watch in cinemas. According to him, it’s essential to work on projects that are both entertaining and distinct. Consequently, he has become more thoughtful regarding the content he engages with.

The Sarfira actor expressed his goal of creating films that reflect the present and provide a worthwhile theatre experience. He explained, “I look for tales that amuse as well as touch people’s hearts.”
