As a hardcore Marvel fan and avid gamer, I have been eagerly anticipating the release of “Deadpool & Wolverine” for what feels like ages. I have followed the development of this movie closely, from its initial announcement to the countless rumors and leaks that have surfaced over the past few months. So imagine my excitement when I heard that Dafne Keen, who played Laura/X-23 in “Logan,” would be reprising her role for this new film!

Before the unveiling of “Deadpool & Wolverine,” Marvel Studios took great measures to conceal the movie’s surprise appearances, even releasing false leaks to misguide fans. However, right before the premiere, a new trailer was released, shocking viewers with a cameo by Dafne Keen reappearing as Laura/X-23 from “Logan” (2017). Fans might be puzzled about why Marvel revealed this twist, but according to Kevin Feige in an interview with Variety, there are actually valid explanations.
It wasn’t a problem that Dafne Keen, who portrays X-23/Laura in the film, couldn’t attend the premiere until the question was raised. Feige explained, “We wanted her there, but it wouldn’t have been wise to reveal her appearance at the premiere as it would have spoiled the surprise.”

The final trailer of the upcoming film had created such an immense buzz just days before its premiere, and the sight of X-23, played by the talented Dafne Keen, only added fuel to the fire. Feige’s glowing review of her appearance further solidified my excitement.
Who Else Appears in Deadpool & Wolverine?

From what we’ve seen in trailers and clips, it looks like some fascinating cameos are in store for us, including Peggy (“Britain’s Ugliest Dog”) as Dogpool, Kelly Hu as Lady Deathstrike, Jason Flemyng as Azazel, Aaron Stanford as Pyro, Tyler Mane as Sabretooth, and Laura (Dafne Keen) as X-23. These appearances promise to add unexpected twists and turns to the plot, making the film even more engaging and enjoyable for fans of the series. As a die-hard fan, I’m thrilled about the rumored collaboration between Deadpool and Wolverine, which could potentially bring back Hugh Jackman as everyone’s beloved X-Man. Contrary to widespread speculation, this might not be his final appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Jackman himself remains tight-lipped on the matter, while Feige has hinted that anything is up for grabs in interviews. With Avengers: Secret Wars coming up, there’s a strong possibility that Jackman and Reynolds could team up once more for another round of witty banter (at least within PG-13 boundaries). For now, I’m just glad that the film seems poised to meet the sky-high expectations it has generated since its announcement.
