On the film’s first anniversary since its premiere, an elated Johar shared a heartfelt message on his social media platform, acknowledging and thanking everyone involved in the project.

Recently on July 28, which was exactly one year ago, filmmaker Karan Johar shared behind-the-scenes moments from the movie “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani” featuring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt to commemorate its anniversary.

As the post went up, he couldn’t contain his feelings any longer and exclaimed, “Today marks a year since Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani was released – and I am overjoyed…overjoyed! I’m deeply moved and thankful for the immense affection bestowed upon me during this period. The movie paid homage to Hindi cinema, and I feel privileged to have worked with such esteemed artists in its creation!”

I’ve had the pleasure of working with the amazing duo, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. They’ve made my life and work feel effortless, just like a well-coordinated dance. When they arrived on set, I watched in awe as they took charge and left me breathless – I saw them conquer, and I couldn’t help but fall in love with their passion and talent. I’m grateful for the opportunity to direct the legendary Jaya aunty once more; she brought joy and warmth to our set, reminding us all of the power and magic of acting. I hold both Ranveer, Alia, and Jaya in the highest regard – they’re the best Rocky, Rani, and Jaya ever! My heart is full of love for them, and I believe we were destined to cross paths again in this life, as well as the last one.

“I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to direct the legendary actors Azmi Shabana ji and Amitabh Bachchan ji.
