Among the illustrious attendees gracing the Ambani soiree were none other than supermodel Kim Kardashian and her sister, Khloe Kardashian. What an unforgettable experience it was!

On the second day of Anant and Radhika’s wedding, Kim wore a Tarun Tahiliani-designed lehenga in a dusty peach color with intricate zari brocade embroidery. Recently, the designer shared insights about creating this masterpiece and offered compliments for the original Kardashian to India Today.

Tarun stated that “Kim is always busy,” implying that he had been contacted by Tanya, Kim’s stylist, who arranged a last-minute fitting due to Kim’s tight schedule. Remarkably, the designer happened to find a mannequin with a body similar to Kim’s in China, where he was traveling. He purchased it, transported it back on the plane, and confessed that it felt like he was tailoring for Kim even without her being present.

As an ardent admirer, I can’t help but exclaim that her final appearance was simply terrific! I remember turning to Kim and expressing my thoughts, “You’ve liberated Indian women to embrace their curves.” Indeed, fashion has been rather confining lately, but it’s crucial to remember that one’s perception of beauty shouldn’t be dictated by the West. Let me add, our bodies are unique, our shapes are distinct, and so is our culture. It takes a remarkable individual like Kim to instill in people the notion that curvaceousness can indeed be breathtakingly beautiful.

Tarun Tahiliani disclosed that he wasn’t in Bombay during the entire event, instead, renowned designer Mansha Sahni took charge for him. He admitted that although things were put together at the last minute, it was all handled professionally due to a positive atmosphere. As a result, managing stress became straightforward.

Apart from Kim, Tarun was also the creative mind behind the stylish appearances of celebrities such as Isha Ambani, Radhika Merchant, Ranveer Singh, Khushi Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, and Shanaya Kapoor, among others. For those who may not know, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant got married in Mumbai’s BKC on July 12, with a reception following on July 14.
