Will Salman Khan and Sonu Nigam work together after Hangover song issue? Singer says 'I only see good in people'

As a lifestyle expert with a keen eye for the nuances of Bollywood, I find it heartening to see the grace and professionalism displayed by Sonu Nigam throughout his career. His desire to collaborate with Salman Khan again, despite the incident surrounding ‘Hangover’, speaks volumes about his character and his ability to forgive and move on.

“Reminiscing about your hangovers! Talking about your hangovers!” (Imagining the song Hangover sung by Sonu Nigam, which is famously featured in the movie Kick starring Salman Khan)

For those unfamiliar, Salman took over from Sonu Nigam to sing the track “Hangover” in the movie Kick. Now, some time later, the vocalist who originally sang it has voiced his wish to work together with him once more.

Sonu Nigam wants to sing for Salman Khan in the future

In a recent chat with Times Now, Sonu Nigam was questioned about potential future collaborations with Salman Khan following their experiences during the production of the film “Hangover.”

The Sau Dard artist expressed, “Whenever the situation arises, if my prediction holds true that I perceive only goodness in people, then kindness will always come first.”

“I am in a good space”, says Sonu Nigam

During that same interview, Sonu Nigam continued discussing his experiences by mentioning collaborations with prominent celebrities and fondly recalling performances for three different generations of artists.

Sonu mentioned that he had the privilege of performing songs for Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra, Sunny Deol, and Bobby Deol. Moreover, he worked with the grandchild of a renowned actor as well.

In his conversation with me, the singer expressed that he’s currently thriving in his professional journey. Not too long ago, he unveiled his documentary titled “Symphony of Fate” on the occasion of his 51st birthday.

When Sonu Nigam was replaced in Hangover

Previously, in a 2014 conversation with the Mirror, Sonu Nigam admitted to recording the track “Hangover.” Nevertheless, it was not disclosed to him that the producers were planning to substitute him with Salman Khan.

Sonu disclosed that he discovered the news regarding the development from a newspaper. The musician asserted that he didn’t receive payment for the recording session.

As an ardent fan, I can’t help but share this thrilling piece of news! The report revealed that the renowned music composer Manmeet Singh, known for his work with Meet Bros, mentioned Salman Khan offering to sing a track. He added that they had been searching for a singer, but it wasn’t until Salman “firmly requested” to lend his voice to the song, that they found their ideal choice!

Sonu Nigam’s collaborations with Salman Khan

As a die-hard admirer, let me share that I’ve been fortunate enough to witness the magical collaboration between Sonu Nigam and Salman Khan in tracks like “Abhi Saans Lene Ki Fursat Nahin Hai,” “Sau Dard,” “Ishq Di Gali Vich,” “Chal Pyar Karegi,” “Sun Zara,” “Just Love Me,” and the iconic “Chori Chori.” I can’t help but feel a sense of pride, knowing that these two talented individuals have created such beautiful music together.
