As a seasoned gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I’ve seen it all – from the rise and fall of gaming legends to the evolution of online communities. In the grand scheme of things, we all started somewhere, making mistakes along the way, learning, growing, and maturing. MrBeast, or Jimmy Donaldson, is no exception.
On Wednesday, MrBeast admitted to using offensive language during his initial online years, responding to a stir caused by claims about his previous racially insensitive comments.
Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast, has faced criticism lately due to allegations of past racist comments. A 2017 clip resurfaced where YouTube personality Rosanna Pansino claimed that Donaldson made a comment about selling Black people for money, saying, “I’d probably pay around 300 dollars at most.”
As a devoted follower, I can’t help but share the disturbing news that surfaced simultaneously with reports of Ava Kris Tyson, my long-standing associate, making sexually inappropriate remarks towards minors. This revelation has left me deeply troubled.

However, he’s since grown and acknowledged his errors, understanding that with growing influence comes a greater need for mindfulness and sensitivity towards language. Over the past week, I found myself compelled to address the accusations leveled against Tyson. In a post on the platform that once was known as Twitter, I unequivocally stated my disgust and opposition towards such inexcusable behavior.
Based on my years of working in corporate America, I understand the importance of transparency and due diligence when dealing with allegations or misconduct within a company. Given this situation involving Ava and MrBeast, I have decided to bring in an impartial third party to conduct a thorough investigation. This is not a decision made lightly, but one that I believe will ensure we have all the facts before taking any further action.
